What is a pay & benefits statement?
A pay & benefits statement is your personalized and confidential statement that communicates the overall value of the compensation and benefits package you have received while working at DePaul. The statement details your contributions and DePaul's contributions to these programs during the most recently completed calendar year. Your statement is not a regulatory or tax document. The statement is for informational purposes only.
Who received a statement?
Statements are available to current full-time and part-time faculty and staff who were active as of December 31st of the prior calendar year. Union employees and student employees will not receive statements.
Where will I find my confidential statement?
You may view your personalized 2018 pay & benefits statement by logging into My HR using your Campus Connect user ID and password and navigating to:
Main Menu > Self Service > Payroll and Compensation > Pay & Benefits Statement
How often is the information updated?
Pay & benefits statements reflect the information from the prior calendar year and may not reflect changes posted after the final paycheck of the year. Updated statements will be available annually, during the first quarter of the following calendar year. Prior year statements will also be available for viewing, beginning with the 2018 statement.
What is included and not included?
Pay & benefits statements are personalized to include the compensation you earned throughout the calendar year (e.g. base pay, overtime/overload, and compensation received through DePaul's Staff Recognition Award Program), benefits contributions, regulatory contributions such as Social Security and Medicare, and other perks.
Statements will not reflect federal and state income taxes, payroll deductions not related to benefits, paid time off balances, FAS 106, or taxable portions of employer-paid basic life insurance.
If your medical and/or dental benefit includes coverage for an unrelated second domiciled adult (SDA), or other non-qualifying dependents, the taxable premium paid by DePaul is not included on your statement. If you would like to verify this amount, please refer to the Employer Paid Benefits section of your final paycheck of 2018.
