Project Description

The Online Declaration Tool (ODT) is a customized tool that allows undergraduate students to declare most majors or minors on their own. Our project:

• Over 13,000 declarations were made in the tool in 2023
  
• Fixed a number of bugs that were leading to inaccurate student records  
• Introduced the ability for undergraduate students to declare and drop certificates and combined courses of study
• Allowed Kellstadt graduate students to tool to change their MBA concentrations.  
• Updated declaration rules to comply with DePaul’s student handbooks and removed unnecessary limitations on the number of declared secondary plans.
