Information Services, commonly known as IS, provides a broad portfolio of technology offerings designed to meet the hardware, software, network infrastructure, telecommunications, and technical support needs of students, faculty, staff, and other DePaul constituents. Information Services designs, maintains, and supports the university’s classroom technology, computer labs, and wired and wireless connectivity to DePaul’s network, among many other services. Information Services is part of the larger Operations organization at DePaul; along with other administrative offices such as Human Resources and Facility Operations, IS reports to the Executive Vice President.
- The
Digital Success team ensures that DePaul community members are equipped with the technology that they need and supports them in using it by managing the full lifecycle of lab, classroom, faculty, and staff computers and providing comprehensive front‑line technology assistance via the Help Desk, Genius Squad, and other channels. It consists of the Service Hub and Endpoint Management teams.
- The Enterprise Architecture and Security team guides technology strategy and security by ensuring projects follow university standards, responding to cyber incidents, and promoting security awareness, while also managing the account and identity services that support community members in accessing university systems. It consists of the Architecture and Security Policy and Identity and Access Management teams.
- The
Enterprise Systems team develops and operates systems for student recruitment and enrollment, administrative business operations, and teaching and learning, in collaboration with departments across campus. It consists of the Academic Systems, Administrative Systems, and Recruitment & Enrollment Systems teams.
- The Platform, Network, and Data Administration team manages campus networks and communications, maintains core cloud and on‑site computing platforms, and provides the data infrastructure that powers reporting, integration, and business processes. It consists of the Data Management,
Network Engineering & Security, and Platform Engineering & Security teams.
- The
Project Management Office manages and oversees projects throughout the university in coordination with other areas, offices, schools, and individuals and groups within the Information Services department.
