Software Update and Patching Information

​​Information Services manages software patching and updates for specific components on DePaul-owned computers. This page details the software titles that are patched by Information Services along with those that end users are responsible for patching.

Windows Administrative (Faculty/Staff) Computers

Information Services will apply patches for the Windows operating system, Microsoft Office and Crowdstrike Falcon Sensor. End users are responsible for ensuring that patches are applied for any other installed software.

Information Services will only apply patches for Crowdstrike Falcon Sensor. End users are responsible for ensuring that patch​es are applied for any other installed software, including the macOS operating system.
