HPW aims to encourage healthy choices and responsible decision-making regarding the use of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs.

  • Alcohol

    Alcohol

First-year students as well as upperclassman, graduate students, and non-traditional students are at risk for increased alcohol use and misuse during their studies. HPW provides support for those in recovery or those who are substance-free and educates on harm reduction strategies for those who do decide to drink.

  • Cannabis

    Cannabis

Cannabis is now the second most commonly used drug among college students. HPW engages students in discussion and education around cannabis to empower them to make informed decisions.

  • Opioids

    Opioids

Narcan, a brand of Naloxone, is a prefilled, needle-free device used to reverse the effect of an opioid overdose. If you are a student struggling with opioid use, know you have support and resources.
