The Office of Health Promotion & Wellness (HPW) is a group of Professionals and Peers collaborating in an open, respectful environment that connects students to resources promoting safety, awareness, and health to educate and support the DePaul community in areas of holistic wellness.
Vision
HPW’s vision is to create a culture of health and well-being that empowers students to make safe, educated decisions that foster personal and academic success.
Goals
The work of the Office of Health Promotion & Wellness is informed by sound research, current developments in the field, and evidence-based practices with the goal to:
1. Serve as a welcoming community where students can find support and assistance to promote their wellbeing.
2. Utilize a variety of modalities to maximize student access to cutting edge health and wellness information and resources.
3. Assess the DePaul community to identify the diverse needs of our students and adjust programming accordingly.
