The Health Education Action Team (HEAT) is a team of peer health educators that provide peer-to-peer health and wellness education for students. HEAT serves students through educational workshops and providing students with health and wellness resources on a variety of topics, including:
- Sexual health
- Healthy relationships
- Alcohol and substance use
- Stress management
- Mental and emotional wellness
- Bystander intervention
The HEAT team can speak at workshops and trainings as well as classes and student organization meetings. They are present for passive programming at a number of on-campus activities or can be sought out in the Office of Health Promotion & Wellness, Lincoln Park Student Center Suite 302.
