For Students

In general, DePaul University offers students two types of study abroad options:

  • Term-long programs where you will go abroad for one quarter or longer.
  • Short-term programs of typically 1-3 weeks that travel over the breaks (December, spring break and summer) and are led by DePaul faculty.

Below is a step-by-step guide to learn more and find the program that is the best fit for you.

Step 1: Learn How Study Abroad Works at DePaul

Study Abroad 101 sessions will guide you through the basics of study abroad at DePaul and discuss topics such as selecting, applying and financing your program. These quick, 30-minute sessions are offered every day during the quarter via Zoom If you cannot attend any of these days/times, send your availability to abroad@depaul.edu, and we will set up an individual session with you and a staff member.
