Health & Safety Inspections
DePaul Housing staff will perform health and safety inspections of every on-campus housing room and apartment in fall and spring quarters. Residential Education will perform related health and wellness conversations in winter quarter; see the full schedule on the key dates page. More information is also in the Guide to Student Housing​.
These inspections exist to ensure that all residents are living in safe environments. All rooms may also be inspected while the halls close for winter break in order to ensure that no health or safety problems exist. Staff will provide residents with at least 24 hours' notice before entering a unit for scheduled maintenance and inspection. This notice may be via voicemail, email, website or in the form of written posted communication. Please contact your area office for additional details or if you have questions.
