Apply via Housing Connection Portal

Housing Agreement Information

New, Incoming Students

You must be admitted to DePaul University in order to apply for on-campus housing. Once admitted, log in to myhousing.depaul.edu. Click the Housing Agreement tab and select your chosen academic year. Follow the instructions to complete the agreement.

A $400 prepayment is required for all new, incoming students in order for your agreement to be complete. If you are under 18 years old at the time of applying, you will also need to fill out the parent/guardian voucher.

Be sure to read and understand the terms and conditions that apply to your intended academic year:

Continuing Students

If you are a continuing DePaul student, visit myhousing.depaul.edu and use your Campus Connect information to log in and begin the application. There is no prepayment required for continuing students.

Midyear Housing

We assign housing year-round, during fall, winter and spring. If you are interested in applying, visit our midyear housing page.

Roommate Information

New, Incoming Students

For the 2018-19 academic year, roommate requests will not be accepted after June 1, 2018. Specific roommate requests may be submitted when completing the housing agreement or may be updated in Housing Connection before June 1. Roommate requests will be taken into consideration when assignments are made but are not guaranteed. Students are not required to make roommate requests.

Continuing Students

Continuing students will be assigned roommates at random.

Identity and Special Considerations

DePaul respects the privacy of its residents and recognizes that some residents may be particularly concerned about privacy and confidentiality related to gender identity. Housing Services will consistently recognize and respect the gender identity that students self-identify to DePaul, in good-faith. Additionally, students may self-identify to Housing Services if they wish to receive special housing considerations regarding their gender identity, but are by no means obligated to do so. If students do self-identify and request special considerations, Housing Services will not require students to provide more information than that which is required of other students. Furthermore, all information will be kept strictly confidential to the best of DePaul’s ability and will only be used for purposes designated by the student.
