Residence hall front desks are staffed by trained student employees (desk receptionists) between the hours of 8 a.m. and midnight and by professional security attendants from midnight to 8 a.m. Desk receptionists are responsible for monitoring access control at the hall front desks by checking identification, maintaining the computerized visitation check-in system, upholding policies related to security and visitor sign-in, and serving as friendly campus resources for residents and their visitors.NOTE: For those who report missing or stolen DePaul ID cards, Public Safety will cut card access to ensure the ID cannot be used anywhere on campus, including residential buildings and dining locations.
