Student Employment > On-Campus Jobs > Eligibility Requirements
Only enrolled students are eligible to work on campus.
*During winter break, spring break and summer you may work more hours, based on office needs and manager approval. International Students must first check with
International Student and Scholar Services (ISS) before working more than 20 hours.
Please Note: The 20 to 25 hours per week limit is inclusive of all employment. For example, if a domestic student works 20 hours a week in one job, he/she may only work 5 hours a week in a second job. This includes salary and stipend positions.
F-1 and J-1 International Students are eligible to work on campus provided they are enrolled full–time. Students in J–1 visa status, however, must first obtain permission from International Student and Scholar Services (ISS) before beginning work.
Please see the ISS
for additional employment information by visa type. For information on obtaining a Social Security number, visit the ISS informational page or download the
Social Security number checklist .
