The past year continued to present new challenges and forced many of us to adapt. These challenges have continued to make it important for the Office of Student Employment (OSE) to recognize the work of DePaul student employees and supervisor.

2021 Student Employee of the Year

Student Employee of the Year Kidjie Boyer

We present the 2021 Student Employee of the Year award to Kidjie Boyer!

“Kidjie has helped facilitate important conversations and ways of taking care of our community. She works with TTS staff to publish a weekly 'Take Care TTS' newsletter of resources and readings. She offers her perspective on student workload and aspirations. We often have long discussions on racism, the industry and ways we can change things. I take the lessons I learn from her into wider discussions in the university and industry."

2021 Supervisor of the Year

We present the 2021 Supervisor of the Year award to Amy Peter!

“The daily grace, compassion, brilliant creativity, personal integrity, and laughter that she [Amy] offers her workers and her community at The Theatre School is, without fault, nothing short of extraordinary.

She is the first to counter injustice and often the last staff member to leave the building after long talks we’ve had after hours. Throughout the rest of this nomination, I guarantee that her genuinity will shine through and show just how amazing of a person she is”
