In March of 2020, the vast majority of DePaul's student life and work life shifted remotely. The entire university had to adjust to this new reality. Among the challenges that resulted from the pandemic, students could no longer stop by an ID Services office and pick up their DePaul ID card.
The ID Services team has since shifted to an online system that allows for students to upload photos and receive their DePaul ID card in the mail. This process will continue after the university returns to its new post-pandemic normal.
Students are encouraged to utilize this convenient new way to submit photos and get their DePaul ID Card. The new system allows students to get their IDs more quickly and easily. It's one less thing to worry about when you return to campus. To date, the ID Services team has approved, printed and mailed over 1,350 DePaul ID cards as a result of the new online photo submission.
Remember, the Lincoln Park and Loop ID card offices are still open and ready to help with any questions you may have regarding the DePaul ID card, Demon Express and U-Pass. You can also find more details about all of these topics in the links below.
