Cara Miller

Cara Miller is the Study Abroad Advisor for Term-Long programs in Europe (England, France, and Italy) and Middle East (Jordan).  She has been traveling the world since 2003; encouraging others to study, work and volunteer abroad. At DePaul University, Cara received a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education and a Master’s from School for International Training (SIT Graduate Institute) in Intercultural Service, Leadership and Management. Cara studied abroad during her junior year at DePaul on the​ Paris: French Language, Culture & Film Internship program in 2003. Cara garnered professional experience teaching in Chicago Public Schools, leading high school and university-level student groups to France, Spain and Italy; and working at the Australian Embassy in Washington D.C as well as the Australian Consulate in Chicago as a Public Diplomacy Officer.  In 2011, Cara left the political sector to return to her alma mater.  As a Study Abroad Advisor, she enjoys assisting students, parents and faculty in pursuing all things study abroad!
