Over the past year, the School of Hospitality Leadership at DePaul has increased its efforts to make global engagement a priority in the student experience in both the classroom and in co-curricular activities.
The International Student and Scholar Services (ISS) launched a 14 week pre-arrival online orientation that introduces incoming students to the DePaul community and provides them with critical information in their planning to live and study at DePaul. Upon arrival, new students attend a conference-style in-person orientation
Participants work at their own pace online for at least two hours total per week, then meet weekly with a language coach (face to face or online) to review their progress and receive in-depth feedback and additional resources specific to their needs.
