The Comprehensive Internationalization Committee (CIC) developed a proposal for a new Global Fluency Certificate. The certificate recognizes undergraduate students who, during their career at DePaul, consciously pursued a number of opportunities for global learning, including studying a foreign language, participating in study abroad or other global experiential learning opportunities, and choosing courses with global learning content. Faculty Council approved the certificate in Fall 2018. The certificate will be officially launched in Fall 2019, with a campaign developed in collaboration with students from PRAD classes taught by Prof. Nur Uysal, a member of CIC.
