Hui Lin, PhD, Associate Professor in the School of Accountancy in the Driehaus College of Business, joined the Global Engagement team this academic year as the new Associate Director for Regional Initiatives - China.
Hui brings to us her detailed knowledge of Chinese culture and educational system, and her passion for China-US connections. Hui, as the other three ADRIs do for their own areas of interest, can help faculty and staff making connections and developing collaborations with Chinese institutions.
Hui's research interests include knowledge management, accounting information systems, information security and internal controls. She received her PhD in Accounting and Information Systems from Virginia Tech in 2008. She also holds a BS and a master's in accountancy from Virginia Tech. Prior to her academic career, Hui was a business consultant specializing in financial system implementations at Arthur Andersen and BearingPoint Consulting in the greater Washington DC area from 2000 to 2004.
Please join us in welcoming her to the Global Engagement team, and do not hesitate to reach out to her with ideas, projects, and proposals aimed at continuing to engage DePaul with China.
