Identity-specific Student Centers

The identity-specific student centers are part of the Office of Multicultural Student Success, and were announced late in the 2016-17 academic year, after student, faculty and staff requests and a year-long study of similar centers at other universities. DePaul will have a Black Student Center, Latinx Student Center and LGBTQA Student Center, and all three will be located on the third floor of the O'Connell Building in Lincoln Park.

The centers will serve as a space for building community, sharing information, encouraging dialogue and supporting student retention and success. They will be fully launched in Fall 2017, and until that time, identity-specific student programming will come from the Office of Multicultural Student Success in the Lincoln Park Student Center, room 105.
