Strategizing Coffee & Community

​​​​​       ​​​Project Summary: 

This Global Learning Experience connected students from DePaul University and TEC de Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico, to collaborate on a strategic business analysis project focused on innovation, competitive challenges, and organizational sustainability. Working in international teams, students examined real-world business and industry issues facing companies, organizations, or governments undergoing significant change. Through cross-cultural collaboration, students developed project proposals, pitch presentations, and summary reports that applied strategic thinking, innovation frameworks, and data-driven analysis to address complex business challenges.

The project encouraged students to engage with diverse perspectives while evaluating competitive forces, technological advancements, regulatory changes, and evolving market conditions. Through both synchronous and asynchronous interactions, students strengthened their problem-solving, communication, and intercultural collaboration skills while developing actionable recommendations for organizational growth and innovation.​
