Quality of Instruction Council

​The Quality of Instruction Council (QIC) supports faculty efforts to enhance the curricular offerings of DePaul University. This support is provided through a range of competitive grants, the paid leave program, and the Excellence in Teaching Awards.  In addition to enhancing instruction, the grants and leaves are intended as a stepping stone for securing external funding.  Faculty should consult with the Office of Research Services (ORS) for assistance with external funding sources.  You can reach the QIC by emailing QIC@depaul.edu.

The QIC conducts fall and spring grant competitions.  The fall proposals deadline is October 15th, and the spring deadline is March 15th.  QIC paid leave proposals are due by December 15th.  The deadline for Excellence in Teaching Award nominations is May 1st.  See the following web pages for details and instructions:
