Resources for Living Off-campus

As Spring quarter approaches, now is the time to start researching different housing options for students interested in living on or off-campus next year! There are several resources DePaul provides to help students and their families better understand the housing process:

  • Students planning to live on-campus next year participate in the Room Selection process through the university's Department of Housing. Students should complete a 2021-2022 housing agreement via their housing portal (myhousing.depaul.edu) by April 1, 2022 to stay updated on the latest information regarding their housing process. After completing the housing application, students will receive a randomized Room Selection appointment via email by April 6, 2022. Applications submitted after this deadline will still be reviewed and considered, but any requested accommodations or considerations submitted through the Center for Students with Disabilities (CSD) will be made based on housing availability.
  • Students searching for off-campus housing opportunities can visit offcampushousing.depaul.edu to find available rental properties, roommates or design a roommate profile that can be shared with other students at DePaul. By visiting offcampushousing.depaul.edu/resource students can also find helpful tools to help them navigate searching for apartments!
  • The DePaul Students Living Off Campus Facebook page is another way to find available units and connect with other DePaul students! Most students provide information about leases or subleases, potential roommates, moving resources and more in this group! Encourage your students to join the group and stay updated on the possible opportunities near campus if they are looking to live off-campus!
