Lincoln Park Spring Move-Out

Information on this page pertains to Lincoln Park residents. University Center residents will receive specific information from the University Center management office in early June. It is imperative that move-out deadlines are met due to short turnover periods. Residents who do not move out on time may receive a $150 improper move fee.

Current residents must check out by noon on Saturday, June 11, 2022.

  • If you are moving out prior to Spring Quarter final exams week, email housing@depaul.edu.

Moving Carts

Residents may sign out moving carts for move-out assistance. The cart sign-out is located in the Munroe Hall foyer (2312 N. Clifton Avenue) and carts will be available during the following dates/times for resident use:

  • Friday, June 3 through Sunday, June 12
  • 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Moving Assistance

Professional moving assistance is NOT available when moving out. Beginning Friday, June 3, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m., residents will have the option of issuing visitor wristbands to up to two (2) visitors who are actively involved in their move-out. The wristband will allow your two visitors to go in and out of the building without needing to be signed in and out each time. All visitors are required to show a valid state- or government-issued ID and have a resident present before being issued a wristband. This option may only be used once by each resident.

Elevators & Access Doors

Elevators and access doors will be available in each hall during the same timeframe as the moving carts.  The two halls with freight elevators (not typically turned on) are Seton Hall and University Hall. Access doors are in the Sanctuary Complex.

Parking Information

Issued visitor wristbands also include one day of complimentary on-campus parking in the Sheffield Avenue parking garage, starting Friday, June 3, 2022, through Saturday, June 11, 2022. Only pre-approved seniors are allowed to move-out and access free garage parking as late as Sunday, June 12, 2022. There are certain street locations that have free parking as well. Please be mindful of city metering, tow zones, no-parking areas and street signage. There is no parking available for trailers on university property.

Lincoln Park Meal Plan

After Friday, June 10, 2022, any balance remaining on your meal plan will be forfeited and is not refundable.

Common Damages & Cleaning Charges

Each room will be inspected by staff for damages and cleaning charges. If damages or cleaning issues are found, a fee will be assessed and an email will be sent to the email address you have listed in Campus Connect by June 24, 2022. To see examples of common charges, please visit our Damage Billing webpage. Please note that the list contained there is not exhaustive.
