Mentoring is a key component to faculty retention and success. Listed below are mentoring and faculty resources to support faculty development.

Employee Resource Groups (Affinity Groups) provide a vital service to DePaul. Uniting around common culture, cause, or interest, these groups serve as an important resource to the DePaul community and OIDE. These groups include but are not limited to:

  • BUILD Diversity Certificate Program
    The BUILD Diversity Certificate program reflects DePaul University's commitment to create a learning culture that values diversity and inclusion. The certificate program helps participants develop cultural competencies, offering the tools necessary for linking diversity to organizational and work performance, and connecting the university's Vincentian mission of dignity and respect for all individuals to our core operating business principles. This program may be completed within 18 months, and offers a full range of required and elective courses.

    The Society of Vincent de Paul Professors is an organization of faculty at DePaul University whose goal is to enhance the educational mission of the university in ways consistent with its distinctive values, such as Vincentian personalism, social justice, and service.
