All communications regarding an Academic Integrity violation will be sent to the primary e-mail address listed in Campus Connect. Please ensure that the information in Campus Connect up to date. Your contact information can be accessed via the “demographics” tab on the left hand side of your Campus Connect home page.
If you have received a letter from your professor notifying you that you have violated the Academic Integrity Policy (and if you have never received a violation notification before), you do not need to do anything in response to the letter. You do have the right to appeal a first violation. An appeal must be made on at least one of the following grounds: the violation did not occur, or the instructor's sanction is excessive or inappropriate.
An Academic Integrity violation does not appear on your transcript. A transcript notation may arise if you are subject to a mandatory hearing and receive further sanctions from the Academic Integrity Board.
