The
McNair Scholars Program prepares carefully selected undergraduate students from low-income and/or first-generation college families, or who are members of underrepresented groups, for doctoral study and faculty careers. It is a challenging program that provides opportunities for undergraduate research and faculty mentoring along with intensive advising and assistance with the graduate school admission process.
The McNair Post-baccalaureate Achievement Program at DePaul University is a U.S. Department of Education TRiO program supported by 65 percent federal funds and 35 percent DePaul funds.
Spring 2022 Information Sessions
We will be hosting
McNair Scholars Program Info Sessions this spring. By attending an info session, students will learn more about the nuts and bolts of the program, including the mission, eligibility criteria, curriculum, available resources, and the application process and also have a chance to hear from current McNair Scholars on their experiences.
