Access and Attainment

Access and Attainment programs exemplify the university's mission-based commitment to higher education opportunities for students (1) from a first-generation college background, (2) from a low-income family, (3) with disabilities, and/or (4) facing financial disadvantages or life circumstances such as housing and food insecurities. DePaul offers a fellowship program, a student-led research lab, and international research experiences for these students to support their dreams of a post-baccalaureate education.

DePaul also offers two federally-funded TRiO programs for first generation students, individuals who are financially challenged, and students with disabilities. Learn more about those programs here.
