Did You Know: DePaul hosts Winter Welcome Back first week of Winter Quarter

Did you know that beginning in Winter 2018, DePaul University’s Division of Student Affairs has hosted a week-long series of events and programs during the first week of the quarter to welcome your students back to campus after a long winter break? This year, Winter Welcome Back took place January 6-11, 2019 and included the Winter Involvement Fair, a Welcome Back lunch and ice skating in Maggie Daley Park in downtown Chicago, among many other things. In December of each year, you’ll be able to see the full list of events here.

Winter Welcome Back aims to energize students as they return to classes after a long break and during some of the shortest days of winter, and help them reconnect with their college friends and campus life.

If you didn’t know about Winter Welcome Back this year and missed the opportunity to encourage your student to attend, keep this ‘new tradition’ in mind for next year. Whether your student is a freshman or a senior, they are likely to enjoy the welcome back—the week of events is planned with everyone in mind!
