About the Latinx Cultural Center

The Latinx Cultural Center (LCC) is one of the four Cultural & Resource Centers at DePaul University. The LCC provides a venue for all students to learn about Latinx culture, heritage, and traditions. The center is located on Lincoln Park Campus at O’Connell Hall, 1036 W. Belden Avenue, Room 360. The Latinx Cultural Center seeks to foster belonging for students by providing resources and opportunities for identity, academic, professional, and holistic development. 

​​Services Offered

  • ​Individual Student Support: LCC connects students and student organizations to university resources that foster personal, academic, professional, and holistic development.
  • Student Organization Support: LCC supports student organizations by offering development opportunities for organizations leaders, event planning, and funding.
  • Community Education: LCC offers workshops, dialogues, and trainings that raises awareness about individual and collective histories/stories of the Latinx diaspora.
  • University Collaborations: LCC collaborates with faculty, staff, and other departments at DePaul to foster a sense of belonging. ​​

Signature Programs and Events

The Latinx Cultural Center hosts small- and large-scale events throughout the academic year that invite students to be a part of the community. The LCC also collaborates with university partners such as student organizations, Latin-American and Latino Studies (LALS), Center for Latino Research, and many more.
