One Training, Multiple Ways to Get Involved
New Leaders Training is offered once per quarter and serves as the required entry point for students interested in leadership and volunteer opportunities with Global DePaul. Through this single training experience, students learn about our programs, volunteer expectations, and available leadership pathways, and can choose to engage in one or more roles that best fit their interests, skills, and availability.

Why Get Involved?
Participation in Global DePaul leadership and volunteer opportunities allows students to:
- Develop leadership and communication skills
- Build meaningful connections with students from diverse backgrounds
- Gain experience supporting international student success
- Contribute to an inclusive and welcoming campus community
After attending New Leaders Training, students may choose to get involved in one or more of the following opportunities.
Each role requires completion of a separate interest form.
Event Volunteers support Global DePaul programs and events throughout the quarter. Responsibilities may include leading tables, supporting active discussions, assisting with logistics, and sharing ideas and resources with students.

Orientation Volunteers assist with new international student orientation each quarter by supporting check-in, helping students navigate campus, and assisting with sessions.

Airport Welcome Volunteers help greet new international students upon arrival in Chicago and assist with airport navigation and transportation guidance.

ISEE Peer Mentors support new international students as they adjust to life in Chicago and at DePaul through peer guidance and connection.
