Project Summary:
This GLE project was designed to expose nonprofit graduate students to business practices that could be utilized by the sector and graduate business students being exposed to the nonprofit sector as a possible career option. With real world challenges provided by nonprofit organizations located in the USA, the students from DePaul University and Nottingham Business School/Nottingham Trent University dove into solving the problems serving as consultants. Working together, the 7 teams blended their nonprofit and business knowledge and expertise to provide innovative and meaningful solutions to the clients. These solutions were provided in person in a corporate setting with many of the nonprofit organizations in attendance.

Faculty Feedback:
"The highlight of the GLE was watching the DePaul students learn from the NTU 'business' students and the NTU 'business' students have 'aha' moments around the nonprofit/philanthropy world. At the start, neither thought they had anything in common except completing these assignments however by the end, they realized how much 'alike' they were/are and how much they learned from each other during this GLE." ~Lisa Dietlin
"To see our students present their final recommendations at the McDonalds University HQ in front of their business clients alongside their DePaul students partners was fantastic. The professionalism they demonstrated and the genuine sense of achievement they had after the event was lovely to witness." ~Paul Wreaves
