Project Summary:
The GLE project in this course involved a group research project that was carried out through group discussions, group homework, and a group presentation. DePaul students were partnered with psychology students at the Nottingham Trent University in groups. The interactions between students in two countries took place in mostly asynchronized discussions.
Each GLE group conducted a cross-cultural research project, which made students rely on their cultural partners to collect data in the opposite culture for cross-cultural comparisons. The ultimate goal of this research collaboration was to make students appreciate global interconnectedness and to learn from their cultural partners.
