If you are conducting non-reviewable activities and you would like the Office of Research Services to provide documentation that the activity is non-reviewable, then you must submit some basic information about the activity through the online eProtocol system in the not research/not human subject/not engaged form pathway. You do not fill out a full application, but rather just provide us with enough information to make the determination that the activity is non-reviewable. You will then receive an official determination letter indicating that the activity, as described, is non-reviewable. If there are questions or concerns about your activity or additional information is needed before a final determination can be made, a member of the ORS-Research Protections staff will contact you via email.
