Raised in Southwest Georgia, Raven is a first-generation college graduate who is passionate about creating welcoming communities where students feel supported, connected, and empowered to succeed.
Prior to joining DePaul, Raven served as a Community Director for two years at California State University, Northridge in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles and previously spent two years as a Resident Director at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. Her Residence Life journey began in Georgia as a Resident Advisor while earning her bachelor's degree from Valdosta State University. Throughout her career, she has enjoyed helping students build meaningful connections and making campus feel like home.
Outside of work, Raven enjoys rollerblading, traveling, exploring the city, trying new food spots, reading in the park, playing guitar, catching the latest movies at AMC, spending time with her black cat, Pandora, and never passing up the chance to watch a beautiful sunset.
