Lyza Liriano is the West Area Coordinator for the Department of Housing & Residence Life, overseeing primarily LeCompte Hall and Munroe Hall. In her role, Lyza leads a comprehensive and inclusive residential living program, including managing the West Area Office throughout the year and co-managing summer programs.
Lyza was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She is a proud first-generation American and first-generation college graduate, receiving her bachelor's and master's degrees at the University at Albany (UAlbany). After graduating from UAlbany (post COVID), she wanted to move closer to a beach and worked as a Residence Life Coordinator at the University of South Florida from 2021-2023. Lyza is excited to live in a major city again, especially walking around the neighborhoods and trying new coffee shops.
When Lyza is not working, she is often traveling, spending time with friends and family, reading, or shopping.
