Eric Villafuerte

  • Occupancy Analyst
Eric joined the Department of Housing team in May 2019 as an occupancy analyst. Eric processes housing agreements and assigns students to their on-campus housing.

He received his Bachelor of Science in sociology and Latin American studies from Grand Valley State University in his home state of Michigan. Prior to joining the team, Eric worked in customer service and in the public education system through the AmeriCorps programs Michigan Education Corps and City Year Chicago.

Eric is excited about the work DePaul Housing accomplishes to not only find a comfortable, safe place for students to live, but also for its role in laying the foundation for building connections, fostering a quality learning environment, and aiding in the personal growth and development of students.

Outside of work, Eric enjoys exploring the city with his two dogs.
