Before becoming the Assistant Director of Housing Operations for DePaul Housing, he joined the department in May 2019 as an occupancy analyst. In his role, Eric manages the processing of housing agreements, assigns students to their on-campus housing, and supervises front desk staff at residence halls.
Eric received his Bachelor of Science in Sociology and Latin American Studies from Grand Valley State University in his home state of Michigan. Prior to joining the team, Eric worked in customer service and in the public education system through the AmeriCorps programs Michigan Education Corps and City Year Chicago.
Eric is excited about the work DePaul Housing accomplishes in helping students find a comfortable, safe place to live as well as its role in laying the foundation for building connections, fostering a quality learning environment, and aiding in the personal growth and development of students.
Outside of work, Eric enjoys exploring the city with his two dogs.
