Kate works with faculty to create and implement short-term programs for the Driehaus College of Business, the College of Science and Health, The Theatre School, the School for Continuing and Professional Studies, and the College of Education. She earned her B.A. in Spanish at Washington University in St. Louis, where she studied abroad in Spain (twice!) on term-long language programs and traveled to Costa Rica on a faculty-led spring break program. After graduation, she moved back to Madrid to teach English to K-12 students. Kate completed a Master in Bilingual and Multicultural Education at the Universidad de Alcalá in Spain before returning to the US to work in international education. Kate has traveled extensively in Europe and has also enjoyed shorter trips to various countries in Asia, Africa, and the Americas. She was the first person in her family to get a passport and is excited to help make international travel a possibility for students of all backgrounds.
