Present a Career-Related Activity

Are you passionate about what you do?  Do you want to inspire that same love in young children or help to open their minds to different career opportunities?  The university has a wealth of learning areas and careers that our own children can benefit from learning about.  Help us to ignite a passion in our youngsters!

We invite you to propose a 30 minute hands-on activity that engages children ages 7-10 or 11-14 (or both) to explore your career area.  You must be available on Thursday, April 26th between 12:45pm and 4pm.  Activities should encourage confidence, inquisitiveness, and resilience through participation.  During each session presenters are encouraged to share their path to getting to their job, their educational background, and what they do day-to-day and why they like it.  All activities will be held in the Lincoln Park and will be in the Student Center, unless otherwise requested.  A total of 45 minutes will be allotted which should include set-up and tear-down as activities will be back-to-back.
