Rico Tyler has served as the associate vice president in the Division of Student Affairs at DePaul University since 2008. In this role he oversees the Office of Multicultural Student Success; Academic Continuity and Engagement (ACE); New Student and Family Engagement and Student Involvement.
Prior to his current role, Rico served as the director of New Student Programs at DePaul and as both a faculty member and administrator at Fairmont University. He has been responsible for the strategic restructuring of many areas and the creation of key activities that support student success, learning and enhance the overall student experience.
Rico earned both his MEd in special education and his BA in liberal arts at West Virginia University.
