Jane Baron (she/they) serves as the Associate Director for the Cultural and Resource Centers at DePaul University. In this role, she oversees the Asian, Pacific Islander, Desi American (APIDA) Cultural Center, the Black Cultural Center, the Latinx Cultural Center, and the LGBTQIA+ Resource Center. Through these centers, Jane advances DePaul's social justice mission by fostering equitable solutions, cultivating inclusive communities, and preparing students to be agents of systemic change.
Previously, Jane served as the APIDA Cultural Center Coordinator, where she developed high-impact and high-touch programs that deepened student learning around cultural awareness, identity development, and advocacy. She has also worked in a variety of nonprofit organizations focused on college and career readiness, where she supported students in building pathways toward academic and professional success.
Jane earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Loyola University Chicago and is also an alumna of DePaul University, where she received her MEd in Education, Culture, and Society.
