Lavonne Kopca

​Lavonne Kopca has been with DePaul University since 2017. In her current role as the associate director of the Center for Students with Disabilities (CSD), Lavonne facilitates accommodations for students with documented disabilities and serves as a resource to faculty, staff, and administrators. Lavonne helps to ensure students with disabilities have equal and meaningful access to DePaul University programs and activities and works to provide a welcoming and inclusive campus environment.

Before taking on her current role in the CSD, Lavonne was the director of Student Disability Services at North Central College. Prior to that, Lavonne was a learning specialist in the CSD at DePaul University and an educational accommodation specialist at Joliet Junior College.

Lavonne earned her doctorate in higher education administration at Illinois State University. Lavonne earned an MSW at Aurora University, an MEd in teaching and learning and a BA in psychology at DePaul University.
