2021 Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Dr. Remembrance Event

On January 19, 2021, DePaul University celebrated its 24th annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Remembrance event. We were honored to welcome Mr. Ernest Green as our keynote speaker. Mr. Green is one of the "Little Rock Nine", a group of high school students who entered Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas, following the Supreme Court ruling to desegregate. Mr. Green poignantly spoke of his high school experience, the current state of our nation, and the importance of activism. We are pleased to provide you with the recording of Mr. Green's important message to the DePaul community.
