Undergraduate Research Assistant Program

The Undergraduate Research Assistantship Program (URAP) creates a unique environment in which faculty members share their passion for mentoring and engaging undergraduate students in their pursuit of research, scholarship and creative activities. Aligned with the University's Strategic Goals for Grounded in Mission, the Plan for DePaul 2024: Elevate academic excellence and embrace a culture of creativity and discovery, the URAP Program has a dual purpose: 1) Increase support, incentives, and recognition for scholarly and creative work by faculty and students, and 2) Increase student participation in research and creative activities by providing competitive financial support for undergraduate research assistants.

Interested faculty and students can apply together for the URAP program twice per year (Fall and Spring) using the specific deadlines set by each College.

URAP's guidelines provide a detailed description of this initiative, and includes the programs’ forms     (please note that the faculty application and the student application must be filed together).
