DePaul faculty who have tenure, or are in tenure-track positions are eligible to serve as principal investigators (PIs) or project directors (PDs) on a sponsored project. Persons in other faculty-level ranks including instructors, visiting professors/ scholars, and adjuncts may be eligible to serve as PI/PDs with the approval of their Dean and the AVP for Research. Similarly, full-time DePaul staff are eligible to be a PI/PDs; grant-funded
staff (FT/PT) and/or part-time staff may also be eligible to serve as PI/PDs
with the approval of their superiors and the AP for Research.
