Spirit of DePaul Award

The Spirit of DePaul Award was instituted during DePaul's Centennial celebration to highlight institutional Vincentian Values and their relation to the achievement of DePaul's mission. The award also seeks to personally honor and recognize diverse members of the DePaul Community for their leadership and service in the spirit of Saint Vincent de Paul.


Nominations for the 2024-25 Spirit of DePaul Award will be accepted online from April 15 - May 3rd, 2024.  The nomination form can be found here.

2023-24 Spirit of DePaul Award Recip​ients

Congratulations to the following faculty and staff recipients of the 2023-2024 Spirit of DePaul Award. These awardees by their presence and works have made a significant contribution to DePaul University over a period of time and exemplify the mission and values of DePaul University. In them and through them, we recognize and celebrate the Vincentian spirit that is alive at DePaul. 

Awards will be conferred at the Fall Academic Convocation on Thursday, August 31.
