Seton Soup Kitchen

Join us in DOING something truly good for our hungry neighbors!

The Elizabeth Ann Seton Food Pantry & Soup Kitchen began in 1980, handing out coffee and sandwiches to patrons on our front porch. Today, our sandwich kitchen is open 6 days a week, serving an average of 100 meals a day and thousands of cups of coffee, tea and hot cocoa per year. We also provide hygiene kits, socks, gloves, hats and winter clothing to our guests. Volunteers include parishioners, DePaul students, faculty and staff, and others from the neighborhood.

Volunteers arrive between 7:45 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. on the day they are scheduled to volunteer and then serve meals until 10:00 a.m. Volunteers help by preparing and serving meals and conclude their shift by 10:15 a.m. after food service is ended.

We ALWAYS need your help!
