2023-2024 Retreats

Join DePaul Students on a retreat designed to reflect on transitioning into college during this unprecedented time, building new friendships and growing your faith! This won’t be a typical first year of college but we are committed to making it amazing. We look forward to welcoming our new Blue Demons!

Join us for a weekend retreat focused on climate change and our Christian responsibility to get involved. We will look at the cilimate science and Pope Francis' encyclical Laudato Sí. Come away for a weekend and relax in nature while reflecting on the Vincentian question, "What Must Be Done?"

The Search Retreat is for sophomores, juniors and seniors. This retreat is designed for all who are searching for something more in life, with a focus on reflecting and building upon your relationship with yourself, others and God.

Regardless of where you are on your faith journey, Search seeks to offer you a meaningful experience. Search includes student reflections, opportunities for quiet reflection, small group discussions, free time and a variety of interactive community building activities. The Search Retreat also includes the exploration of various elements of the Christian faith including the topics of community, identity, discipleship, forgiveness, prayer and the body of Christ.

The Search Retreat is implemented at colleges, universities, parishes and other organizations throughout the country and even throughout the world. Each community implements the retreat in different ways. Here at DePaul we are building the Search tradition, which many people have found to be very helpful to their college journey, their faith and their community. Be part of the community, be on Search!

Come and celebrate Latiné culture through our Latiné Retreat! This identity-based retreat experience accompanies DePaul Latiné students in navigating academic life, providing opportunities to network with other students, and reflect on spirituality. Join us for reflection, community building, and celebration!

Lent Retreat is designed to fit around your schedule. During this important season of focused prayer, we strive to pay closer attention to our life and God's movement within it. This retreat experience will be ongoing with opportunities to participate in one on one spiritual companionship with DePaul staff and faculty. Please, join us in drawing closer to God as we prepare to celebrate the Resurrection.
