Regardless of where you are on your faith journey, Search seeks to offer
you a meaningful experience. Search includes student reflections,
opportunities for quiet reflection, small group discussions, free time
and a variety of interactive community building activities. The Search
Retreat also includes the exploration of various elements of the
Christian faith including the topics of community, identity,
discipleship, forgiveness, prayer and the body of Christ.
Search Retreat is implemented at colleges, universities, parishes and
other organizations throughout the country and even throughout the
world. Each community implements the retreat in different ways. Here at
DePaul we are building the Search tradition, which many people have
found to be very helpful to their college journey, their faith and their
community. Be part of the community, be on Search!

The New Student Retreat seeks to help first-year students build meaningful relationships within our community, reflect on their transition into college and look forward to their college career with good guidance. Some students who have previously experienced the New Student Retreat point to this shared experience as a time when they truly connected with people who became their closest college friends. Through the retreat you can find your spiritual community and explore different activities and opportunities for involvement within the Catholic Campus Ministry community.
