Upcoming GLE faculty Visits at DePaul

With international travel resuming, DePaul University’s Global Engagement office is pleased to start welcoming again international faculty partners who collaborate with DePaul faculty on Global Learning Experience (GLE) projects. GLE projects (examples can be found here), also known as virtual exchange projects, are carefully designed by DePaul faculty with international partner faculty, working together to implement the GLE project(s) in their respective courses. As part of the GLE proposal process, funding is available to facilitate partnership-building by allowing faculty to visit each other’s campuses as they design the collaborative international experiences that their students participate in. This Spring-Summer, DePaul will welcome faculty partners from Sao Paulo State University (Brazil), Durban University of Technology (South Africa), Caucasus International University (Georgia), and Centro Universitário Christus - Unichristus (Brazil), among others.

As a reminder to the DePaul community, the office of Global Engagement manages an “International Visiting Scholars Residence” - a private one-bedroom apartment in Lincoln Park campus, which aims to welcome international colleagues from DePaul’s partner schools. For more information and reservations, DePaul faculty can make inquiries to globalengagement@depaul.edu.
