Launched in Fall 2019, our Global Fluency Certificate (GFC) officially recognizes undergraduate students who have demonstrated beginning proficiency in a language other than English; completed a global experiential learning activity; completed four Global Learning courses; and maintained a GPA of 2.67 or better. So far, 170 students have registered for the GFC, and 54 of them have already completed all of the requirements! In the first year alone, we expect to award 27 certificates to DePaul graduates.
