Mark Laboe, DMIN

Mark has served as an associate vice president for Mission and Ministry at DePaul since 2005. His work is currently focused on Faculty and Staff mission engagement since 2018. Previously, he provided comprehensive leadership and direction for DePaul's University Ministry, consisting of Catholic Campus Ministry, the Vincentian Community Service Office and the Office of Religious Diversity. Mark’s works to develop and support programs and initiatives across the institution that serve to further DePaul's Catholic-Vincentian mission. Prior to his work at DePaul, Mark served as executive director and program director of Amate House with the Archdiocese of Chicago. He has been active in various works of ministry for over 30 years, as a hospital and hospice chaplain, high school teacher and a lay missioner in Santiago, Chile.  Mark holds a D.Min. from Catholic Theological Union, an M.Div. from Loyola University Chicago, and received his BA in Economics from the University of Notre Dame
